A Favorite Spot in Ghent: View from Hoofdbrug

Sometimes, I enjoy wandering around and capturing random touristy postcard shots. I like to do this abroad but also in my hometown, Ghent. This image was taken from Hoofdbrug, looking southeast towards the Old Fish Market (Oude Vismijn), a medieval marketplace, with the Tower of St. Nicholas' Church in the background. It’s a place that I pass by frequently, a place that I’ve probably photographed several times, but this square composition is one that I particularly like. The colors and post-processing make it one of my better shots of this location - Hoofdbrug, Ghent, Belgium.
