A Futuristic Vista: The Hemisfèric and Oceanographic at the City of the Arts and Sciences

As the sun began to set over Valencia, I couldn't resist capturing a shot of the Hemisferic and Principe Felipe Science Museum at the City of Arts and Sciences. These two buildings are just a small part of a massive complex that takes up 350,000 square meters along the old Turia riverbed. It's a beautiful spot, with plenty of other cool buildings designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava. Now, some folks in Valencia don't love Calatrava as much as others - they say his designs are expensive and flawed. But regardless of your opinion on him, it's hard to deny that these two buildings are truly something else. Their futuristic, otherworldly designs make them stand out against the evening sky, which was a deep blue with a hint of orange – City of Arts and Sciences, Valencia, Spain.
