A Walk by the Sea

​A couple of days ago, we went for a hike along the North Sea on the Belgian coast. It had been a while since we’d had such beautiful weather. The sky was actually too plain to make for great photos, and I was starting to accept that today just wasn’t the day for a "master shot." But then, I noticed this elderly couple slowly walking along a path by the sea and dunes. The warm, golden light of the late afternoon lit up the dunes beautifully, complementing the blue of the sea and the sky. And something about the couple —I t was just so heartwarming.

All of it together made for a scene that I really loved.
