Whenever I have a free morning in Barcelona, I’m always drawn back to Barceloneta Beach and the surrounding areas. This spot, alongside the "Ciutat Vella" (Barcelona’s Old Town), feels like the perfect blend of history and vibrant coastal life—an ideal setting for capturing unique shots that reflect the city’s character. Barceloneta Beach, one of Barcelona's most popular, was developed for public use in the 1990s as part of the city’s transformation for the 1992 Olympics, bringing new life to the area. The 1.1 km stretch is full of activity, with beach bars, volleyball courts, and a lively promenade lined with cafes and street art. Originally a fishing district, Barceloneta has kept its traditional charm despite the changes, blending local heritage with tourist appeal – Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain
