Finding a Fresh Perspective: Capturing Warsaw's Iconic Soviet Tower

If you're walking around Warsaw, you can't miss the Palace of Culture and Science – it dominates the skyline, and naturally, I had to photograph it. But the challenge was how to find a unique and appealing composition for such an iconic and often-photographed landmark. Known as the "Soviet Tower," this structure is a lasting symbol of Soviet influence, completed in 1955 as a "gift" from the Soviet Union. Standing 237 meters tall, it blends Socialist Realism and Art Deco. Despite its controversial origins, it’s now home to theaters, museums, and offices.
