IJmuiden's Charm

I took this picture on the very first day of our road trip through Scotland, actually just before the real trip started. It's a photo taken in IJmuiden before we boarded the ferry to Newcastle. Following the motto 'better safe than sorry,' we left Ghent around 10 am to catch the 5:30 pm ferry. Arriving early, we took the opportunity to explore the area. IJmuiden is mainly known for Tata Steel and its nearby harbor, so there weren't many tourist attractions. However, walking along the piers and boardwalks provided a nice break to stretch our legs before boarding, and I managed to take some decent photos along the way – IJmuiden, North Holland, the Netherlands.
