Moments from the Copenhagen Pride Festivities

After driving a little over 650 km southwest from Stockholm and crossing the famous Øresund Bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen, we finally arrived in the Danish capital. We were a bit puzzled by the unusually heavy traffic and the delays in reaching our hotel in the city center. It wasn't until after we checked in that we discovered the reason: it was the day of the Copenhagen Pride Parade! After settling into our room, we decided to take a stroll before dinner and found ourselves right in the middle of the vibrant festivities. The Copenhagen Pride Parade, one of the largest LGBTQ+ events in Scandinavia, had filled the streets with colorful floats, joyful music, and an overwhelming sense of community.
