Morning Light in Warsaw's Old Town: Captured with the Leica M8

These pictures capture a morning view of the Old Town of Warsaw, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After being almost entirely rebuilt following its destruction in World War II, the Old Town now stands as a symbol of the city’s resilience and cultural heritage. Its colorful buildings and cobbled streets make it a favorite spot for tourists, especially those who enjoy photography. The warm morning light enhanced the vibrant, almost Kodachrome-like colors in these images. Shot with the Leica M8, featuring a 10.3-megapixel CCD sensor made by Kodak, the camera gives a unique character to the colors. Despite its age, I keep returning to the M8 for its punchy color output, especially when using an IR cut filter to compensate for the color cast issues, particularly with dark fabrics.
