Morning Sky Over Vilnius Cathedral

​A few weeks ago, I posted a similar image of the Vilnius Cathedral, but that one had some flowers in the foreground. Now, I’m curious to see which one will be more popular! Personally, I’m torn – I actually think this one might be better. The cathedral, officially called the Cathedral of St. Stanislaus and St. Ladislaus, might not be the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen, but it’s definitely the most important Catholic church in Lithuania. Its history dates back to the 13th century, and it’s undergone several reconstructions, featuring Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles before settling into its current neoclassical form in the late 18th century. – Vilnius, Lithuania
