Jubelpark: A Glimpse of History and Controversy in Brussels

Under the reign of King Leopold II, the park was developed, with the grand triumphal arch, completed in 1905, serving as its focal point. Surrounding the arch are notable museums, including the Royal Military Museum, AutoWorld Museum, and the Art and History Museum. While Leopold II was responsible for many architectural projects, much of his legacy has been criticized due to his colonial actions during his rule, especially in the Congo - Brussels, Belgium
