Rediscovering the Leica M8: Vivid Colors in Citadelpark

Here are two more shots I took with my Leica M8, which I recently dusted off and started using again on my walks in Ghent. These pictures were taken in Citadelpark. The park is between my home and the city center, so I walk through it every time I head downtown. I continue to be charmed by the vivid colors this camera's CCD sensor produces. In addition, the simplicity of the camera is very appealing—you basically have aperture, speed, and ISO, with the latter being relatively limited because anything above ISO 160 introduces electronic noise. And of course, the sound of the shutter makes taking pictures with this device an absolute delight – Citadelpark, Ghent, Belgium.
