Soaring High in Zeeland

Here is another shot from last weekend’s trip to the Oosterscheldekering in Zeeland. I was initially planning to title this image “The Flying Dutchman,” but after the Dutch soccer team’s loss to England in the EK semi-finals, I was worried it might upset some of my Dutch friends. So, I came up with a new title: "Soaring High in Zeeland." What really grabs attention in this shot is the rough sea and, of course, the kitesurfer stealing the show, hanging an impressive 10 meters above the water. The combination of the turbulent sea and the daring kitesurfer truly captivated me - Oosterscheldekering, Zeeland, the Netherlands
