The Heart of Medieval Tallinn

On our first day in Tallinn, we took a city tour with a guide. After exploring the medieval downtown, with its cobblestone streets, narrow alleys, and hidden courtyards, we reached a lookout point in the Upper Town. The view was incredible, with old stone towers, once part of the city's defense system, standing tall in the distance. Tallinn’s Old Town is full of history and charm, and out of the Baltic capitals, it definitely stands out for its beauty. It has a certain edge over Riga and Vilnius, making it one of the most interesting places we’ve visited in the region – Tallinn, Estonia
