22 September 2020: The Belgian average of people testing positive for Covid-19 rises to almost 1,200 during the past week. In the Netherlands the situation is even worse. For the first time since the start of the coronavirus crisis, our neighbors recorded over 2,200 new infections in a single day. Against the background of this worrying development I decided to stay put at home and blow bubbles in the garden…:-) - Ghent, Belgium

About Me

I just like to take pictures, I just push the button. I never worked in the darkroom, I never studied photography or journalism; I’m just a passionate photographer.

For a long time I used to take pictures - like so many of us - to capture memories of family holidays and events. Over time I’ve found that experiences are deepened and one notices things more intensely by thinking visually. I came to enjoy the quality of light, amazing reflections, geometrical forms and colours. Ever since, I have been determined to take my skills to the next level. I also want to share my work with a much larger audience, because I truly believe that the only way to keep feeding one’s inspiration, creativity, and ultimately getting better at what one is passionate about, is to invite others to critique my work.
