25 October 2020: Belgian army is providing emergency assistance to help the healthcare system to cope with the pandemic.
25 October 2020: Update on The Corona Pandemic – 585 COVID-19 patients were admitted to Belgian hospitals last Friday. In some Flemish provinces, hospital admissions are heading towards the peak of March-April whilst some Walloon provinces, and Liège specifically, are recording multiples of the figures back then. In light of this alarming situation the Brussels regional government announced yesterday additional measures which go further than those announced by the federal government last week. With Belgium’s hospitals coming under increasing strain the Belgian Army will start providing emergency hospital, extra ambulances and helicopters to help the health services to cope with the Covid-19 pandemic. Whilst the second wave of the coronavirus epidemic worsens by the day, I continue my search for pictures to add to my collection” beauty in ugly and/or mundane scenery”. On display today is another picture of Portus Ganda, one of the yacht moorings provided by the city of Ghent – Portus Ganda, Ghent, Belgium.
"Photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with how you see them."
I just like to take pictures, I just push the button. I never worked in the darkroom, I never studied photography or journalism; I’m just a passionate photographer.
