Over the past week, on average 282 patients with Covid were hospitalised each day. The figure is down 31% on the previous week. That said, on average there are still 3,142 people a day testing positive for SARS-CoV-2. Infection rates in Belgium are now lower than those in the Netherlands, France and Luxembourg. In summary, we’re on the right track, but we are still far removed from a safe haven. On display today is an early morning shot from the Opal Coast in the Northern part of France, close to the Belgian border – Wissant, France.
