28 September 2020: Update On The Corona Pandemic – A further 2,999 positive coronavirus tests were reported in The Netherlands.
28 September 2020: Nearly 1 million people have died from the SARC-CoV-2 virus since the WHO office in China first reported the virus in late December 2019. In Belgium there is some silver lining. Maybe we’re just grasping at straws but whilst the number of average infections per day continues to increase, the rate of increase is slowing. Still there were an average of 1,528.7 people per day that tested positive for Covid-19 during the past week. In the Netherlands, however, the situation seems to further deteriorate. The country set a new record for infections for the sixth time in seven days, with 2,999 more people testing positive. Mark Rutte announced last Friday that the government is considering introducing additional measures to combat the virus in the days to come. It looks like I’m not going to travel to the Netherlands in the weeks to come. On display is the Dutch parliament in The Hague – The Hague, The Netherlands.
