Between Earth and Sea: Capturing the Horizon

This photo was captured near the same location where I photographed the Icelandic horses in Eyvindarhólar. The weather was persistently challenging, marked by relentless strong winds and rain. Seeking refuge, we had taken shelter in a nearby cave along the Ring Road to enjoy our picnic lunch. As luck would have it, there was a brief respite from the rain, prompting me to step outside the cave. What unfolded before me was the vast expanse of the ocean just across the road, creating a captivating composition of horizontal lines that I couldn't resist capturing  – Route 1, southeastern section, Iceland
