Capturing the Moody and Wild Majesty of Reynisfjara

The ocean at Reynisfjara is deceptively powerful, and it's especially treacherous during stormy weather, as we experienced on our last visit. The beach has a troubling history of accidents and casualties, primarily involving tourists. Over the years, unfortunate incidents have occurred where individuals were unexpectedly caught by powerful waves and dragged into the ocean, resulting in injuries and, tragically, even fatalities. Being aware of these risks, I made a conscious effort to maintain a safe distance from the waves and cliffs during my visit. There were moments when I had to hastily retreat to avoid getting wet, but I managed to stay more or less dry.
