Cuevas de Ascibi, an off-the-beaten-path experience

Driving down from Cachi to Cafayate we were staring slack-jawed in awe of the beautiful mountains in the distance. The red jagged cliffs and canyons shaped by centuries of wind and seismic shifts are some of the most beautiful things we’ve ever seen. Clearly this part of Argentina has an edge of Patagonia. Hiking into that landscape at the Cuevas de Acsibi was an absolute delight. Forgive the cliche, but it is a truly off-the-beaten-path experience – Cuevas de Ascibi, Salta, Argentina.
