Discovering Artistic Treasures: A Glimpse into the Royal Museum of Fine Art in Antwerp
The Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp (KMSA) underwent a major renovation and expansion project that began in 2011. The museum was reopened to the public in October 2021, after being closed for nearly ten years. The newly renovated museum now has a more open and welcoming design and the museum’s collections have been reorganized and reinterpreted. The museum now features an expanded collection of over 7,000 works of art, including paintings, sculptures, and drawings from Flemish Primitives to contemporary art. Some ot the most notable pieces in the collection include works by Belgian masters such as Rubens, Van Dyck, Ensor, and Magritte and more, as well as international artists… - KMSA, Antwerp, Belgium.
