Embracing the Desert from Camelback

I have to admit, I probably wouldn't have considered going on this excursion if it weren't for my two grandsons, aged 5 and 4. They had been persistently asking me about it for months, and I couldn't say no to those little guys. However, I must admit, I ended up having a blast riding a camel. It's quite an experience. I must, however, mention that I wouldn't have been able to mount and dismount from the camel without the help of the Bedouin guides. After our ride, I snapped this picture just before entering our SUV, to get back to the comfort of our air-conditioned hotel – Qasr al Sarab, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
