Enchanting Midnight Sun Hike in Abisko, Norrbotten, Sweden

As Abisko is located 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, it provides an ideal opportunity to witness the Arctic daytime phenomenon that begins in June, where the sun never sets. Even at midnight, the sun remains above the horizon, casting a mesmerizing red and yellow glow in the sky. It's a truly surreal experience to hike through the Nordic alpine terrain beneath this enchanting illuminated sky. Our midnight sun adventure commenced with a short walk leading us to a chair-lift. The chair-lift carried us upward, granting us breathtaking mountain views along the way. Eventually, we arrived at the STF Aurora Sky Station, perched at an elevation of 900 meters. From there, we embarked on a 2 km hike to the summit, which sits at 1164 meters above sea level.
