Europe's Tallest Skyscraper

The Lakhta Center in St. Petersburg has Europe's tallest skyscraper. The tower was initially planned to loom over the low-slung historic center of St. Petersburg but an outcry from locals and a warning from UNESCO that the tower's central placement would "damage the image of Russia" led to the original plan being scrapped. In 2011, a parcel of land, around 10 kilometers northwest of St. Petersburg's historic center, was purchased and Gasprom started building the tower in 2015 – St. Petersburg, Russia

For a long time I used to take pictures - like so many of us - to capture memories of family holidays and events. Over time I’ve found that experiences are deepened and one notices things more intensely by thinking visually. I came to enjoy the quality of light, amazing reflections, geometrical forms and colours. Ever since, I have been determined to take my skills to the next level. I also want to share my work with a much larger audience, because I truly believe that the only way to keep feeding one’s inspiration, creativity, and ultimately getting better at what one is passionate about, is to invite others to critique my work.
