Funky Penguins in the Ghent Christmas Market

As we wandered around the Xmas market in Ghent, I was snapping photos to capture the lively vibe. Over the next few days, I'll be sharing some of these impressions with you. While these photos may not be masterpieces, they do a great job documenting the lively ambiance of the market. When I returned home and reviewed my collection, I realized that some of the pictures truly came to life when converted to black and white. In this particular photograph, you'll see a brass band performing on the Poeljemarkt. It's kinda funny, but the band members were all dressed up as penguins, and I have no idea why. What's clear, though, is that they were having a blast – Poeljemarkt, Ghent, Belgium
