Glasgow Cathedral: Brooding Skies Over the Restoring spire

Glasgow Cathedral, also known as St. Mungo's Cathedral, is a historic landmark in Glasgow, Scotland, dedicated to the city's patron saint. Dating back to the 12th century, it is one of the few medieval churches in Scotland to survive the Reformation intact. The Gothic architecture features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and beautiful stained glass windows. The crypt houses the tomb of St. Mungo.
It wasn't the ideal moment to photograph the church. We visited in the middle of the day, the light was dull, and the spire was under restoration with scaffolding surrounding it. Despite these challenges, I had to take a picture of the outside of the cathedral to document this remarkable place that we visited twice during our short stay in Glasgow.
