Good Night Dresden

Dresden and its surroundings is definitely worthwhile the trip… The city, a three star Michelin destination, is surrounded by fabulous castles: Schloss Pillnitz, Schloss Moritzburg, Schloss Weesenstein and the porcelain town of Meissen. The latter was without doubt our favorite. Also biking along the banks of the river Elbe or a trip to the Bastei Bridge is fun and very enjoyable. The more than 50 km bike ride crossing the Dresdner Heide was more challenging but still very pleasant and definitely a must do to compensate for the very rich German food – Dresden, Germany.
