Greetings From Clos de Vougeot
The Château de Clos Vougeot was originally built in the midst of the vines by the monks of Cîteaux, as a "wine cellar", and "wine estate", and then over the centuries, was transformed into a one-of-a-kind place, a château in its own right, and a symbol of the Burgundy vineyard today. This monument just happens to be right at the heart of the "climats" of Burgundy's vineyard, listed as World Heritage by UNESCO - Vougeot, Cote d'Or, Burgundy, France
