Journey of Solitude - Brussels, Belgium

Here's another photograph from my 'Urban Solitude' series. Captured during a quiet Sunday morning train ride from Ghent to Brussels, this photo depicts a solitary figure in an almost empty carriage. As I glanced across, I noticed someone sitting a row away, gazing out the window. The darkness of the seats seemed to envelop this person, evoking feelings of loneliness, perhaps tinged with sadness, melancholy, or even just boredom. The interpretation is left to the viewer..
