La Paz is the administrative capital of Bolivia, located in the Andes Mountains. The old town of La Paz, also known as "El Alto", is steeped in history and culture. The narrow, cobbled streets of El Alto are lined with colonial-style buildings and offer a glimpse into the city's rich past.
