Majestic Wilderness: Capturing the Abiskojokk's Journey Towards Confluence with the Torne River16/7/2023  Before we left Sweden to go to Norway, we went on a short hike near the Abisko visitors center. According to our Michelin Guide, there was something we really had to see: a beautiful canyon where the Abiskojokk River flows gracefully before joining the big Torne River. Surrounded by mountains, green forests, and pretty alpine landscapes, this river starts near the border of Sweden and Norway. It travels about 20 kilometers through Abisko National Park before meeting the strong Torne River. The Abiskojokk River is famous not only for its lovely surroundings but also for its clear and clean water – Abisko, Sweden.
