Barcelona hosts a huge heritage of Modernist (Art Deco) architecture: dozens of buildings, some of them very well-known all over the world, like Sagrada Familia or Casa Batlló. There are some other buildings, not very much visited, which are authentic jewels of Modernism Heritage. This is especially the case of the Hospital de Sant Pau i la Santa Creu (Hospital of the Holy Cross and Saint Paul): huge, impressive, and a great example of XIX century public buildings architecture. After more than a century as the home of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, an ambitious restoration project following the transfer of all healthcare activities to the new Hospital has restored the cultural and artistic glories of the Sant Pau Art Nouveau Site, the most important work of Catalan architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner - Hospital de Sant Pau i la Santa Creu, Barcelona, Spain

I’ve been living in and traveling to the USA for decades… And, the more I travel in the US the more I realize just how much of it there is to see. I still haven't been to Yellowstone or Yosemite or some of the smaller states. I have only seen a tiny slice of Texas, and have a huge amount of the Midwest left to explore. And then there are the places I always want to go back to — places like the Bay Area, Chicago and New England. Even though I have SO MUCH more to see, here are some of the highlights from my US travel.
"Photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with how you see them."
I just like to take pictures, I just push the button. I never worked in the darkroom, I never studied photography or journalism; I’m just a passionate photographer.
