Postcard-Perfect Hamnøy: Capturing Lofoten's Breathtaking Beauty

Hamnøy is a small and incredibly beautiful fishing village nestled in the stunning Lofoten archipelago, renowned for its breathtaking charm. It's considered one of the most captivating places in all of Lofoten. The enchanting images of Hamnøy's red fishermen's cabins, set against the sea backdrop, have graced the pages of esteemed magazines like National Geographic and Condé Nast Traveler. During our visit a week ago, there was no snow (which is obvious for July), and because we stayed in the northern part of Lofoten, we decided against the two-hour drive south in the middle of the night to witness the midnight sun in Hamnøy. Consequently, the lighting conditions weren't optimal when I aimed to capture the postcard-worthy view from one of the most famous viewpoints in the entire Lofoten region. Looking back, I think I should have taken the shot from the other end of the bridge. All in all, the picture turned out fairly good, in my opinion – Hamnøy, Lofoten, Norway.
