Power Unleashed: Dettifoss, Iceland's Mighty Waterfall

I'm putting the finishing touches on my Iceland photography portfolio, soon to be featured on my website. This collection combines images from two trips – one in 2013 and the other just a few weeks ago. During my final selection process, I stumbled upon some pictures that I hadn't shared yet, but that I’m proud of and want to share with a larger audience. This shot captures the awe-inspiring Dettifoss, taken during our 2013 expedition. Dettifoss, nestled in northeastern Iceland, stands as one of Europe's mightiest waterfalls, soaring at approximately 45 meters in height and spanning about 100 meters in width. With an average flow of 193 cubic meters per second, it's renowned for its sheer power. Situated within the stunning Vatnajökull National Park, Dettifoss is accessible via Route 862.
