Romantic Swans: 'The Story of the Swan' in Bruges

Yesterday, we visited 'Winter Glow' in Bruges, a trail of light experiences through arguably one of Belgium's most visited medieval cities. Though, being from Ghent, I'd argue that Ghent is a very close second... 😄 Anyway, we're not particularly into Christmas markets because we don't enjoy overpriced trinkets or cheap 'glühwein.' Instead, we followed the light trail that led us through the historic center with its enchanting atmospheric lighting and Christmas decorations. 'Winter Glow' was truly a delightful experience. The installation we liked the most, and from talking to other people, we found we weren't alone, was 'The Story of the Swan.' It's a beautiful and simple love story depicting two swans on Bruges's canals – Bruges, Belgium.
