The Field of the Painters
The Field of the Painters is a small park with trees and flowers and a few benches surrounded with displayed paintings by Paul Cezanne. Although the park doesn’t look very special, the view of the mountain Sainte Victoire is amazing. Mount Sainte Victoire, which is over 1,000 meters high, was Cézanne's unfailing muse. It posed for him in any weather, at different times of day and seasons, and became the subject of more than 80 of his works – The Field of the Painters, Aix-en-Provence, Bouches-du-Rhône, Provence, France
