A helicopter ride over Sossusvlei offers great landscape photo opportunities abound in the cool of the morning, with dawn’s soft light first illuminating the dunes from crest down the back slope, then blazing orange everywhere, creating a powerful contrasting vista across the whole desert. If you're lucky you can spot an Oryx. This large antelope with its striking appearance of long horns and distinct colouration is the national animal of Namibia - Sossusvlei, Namibia
