The Provincial Route PR33 south of Salta brings you to Cachi (2531m). The route passes through incredible landscapes such as the Quebrada del Escoipe, the Valle Encantado, the Cuesta del Obispo, and the Los Cardones National Park. As the routes ascends you clearly notice the changes in the vegetation and the landscape caused by the height. The route brings you first to the Quebrada de Escoipe. This is an agricultural valley with multicolored hills, vegetation, and reddish soils. La Quebrada has very narrow sections and is enclosed between high stone walls. It is a winding road that crosses the Escoipe River several times - Quebrada de Escoipe, Cachi, Salta, Argentina
