Visitor’s Digest is my daily photo column. Sometimes it's one picture, other times a set — always with short notes about place, light, timing, or a personal detail. It’s my way of documenting the world around me, from city streets to coastal towns, in a simple and reflective way.

Urban Marvels: A View from a Skyline Oasis

The five shining towers stand as an iconic landmark in the city and have become a well-known part of the city's skyline. These towers vary in height, ranging from 54 to 74 floors, but the most famous is the 74th story of the second tower. Here, you'll find the Observation Deck at 300, a café offering the city's highest vantage point. Situated along the bustling Corniche, this five-tower complex serves as a one-stop destination for living, working, staying, shopping, and dining, all while providing breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the nearby ocean. A keen observer will notice that the vantage point from which this picture was taken is somewhat unconventional. This is because the city authorities restrict photography with what they deem professional cameras of architectural buildings without a property release. Local security classifies nearly anything other than an iPhone as a professional camera. In response to this, I decided to explore the city on a Hop-on-Hop-off bus and secured a seat on the top floor of this double-decker. Alongside many other tourists, we were able to snap away without any interference from security. It may seem a bit sneaky, but it was the only way to document this place where we enjoyed our annual family outing.
With all the information provided and the photograph in mind, can anyone guess where we are?
