Urban Solitude - Behind Ghent's Administrative Center

I took this picture behind Ghent's main administrative building in Ghent Zuid. Many kids gather there to skate and play basketball. This part of the building complex has not yet been renovated, giving it a slightly rough feel. In the midst of the activity, there was one person standing alone, illuminated by a ray of sunshine. This solitary figure, enveloped by the environment, is exactly what I'm looking for in my project about "urban solitude." I'm not sure yet if I'll include this photo in the final collection, but I think it's worth keeping for now – Ghent, Belgium
