Urban Solitude: Dawn on the Market Square

Here’s another picture for the series with the working title ‘Urban Solitude’. Visually, I believe this photograph aligns with my artistic vision: a solitary figure, surrounded or rather isolated by darkness or geometric patterns, conveying the loneliness felt amidst the modern urban environment. However, from a contextual standpoint, I'm unsure if the person on the bike truly embodies loneliness. I actually took this picture on the main market square in Groningen, the Netherlands, in August 2015 at 6:30 in the morning. As is customary each year, the university hosted an orientation week for new students. These freshly enrolled students seized the opportunity to party throughout the night and returned to their student residences or homes by daybreak - Groningen, the Netherlands
