The Dubai souks are an amorphous warren of narrow lanes criss-crossing a few square blocks through the old town. Although we’re not not keen on cheap textiles, faux Gucci, plastic toys and cheap trainers, we were entertained by the high-energy street scenes. On the downside, although good humoured, the vendors are very pushy – Dubai, United Emirates
