A similar photograph as the ones I posted yesterday and the day before yesterday… just a little later that same evening. The dusk and twilight hours are undoubtedly my favorite time of day to take photographs. It offers a unique lighting scenario, within which ambient light gradually fades, creating a sparse but magical effect that is almost impossible to create artificially. It fades into the artificial light being emitted by the spots lightening the Pont d'Avignon and Palais des Papes – Avignon, France.

I’ve been living in and traveling to the USA for decades… And, the more I travel in the US the more I realize just how much of it there is to see. I still haven't been to Yellowstone or Yosemite or some of the smaller states. I have only seen a tiny slice of Texas, and have a huge amount of the Midwest left to explore. And then there are the places I always want to go back to — places like the Bay Area, Chicago and New England. Even though I have SO MUCH more to see, here are some of the highlights from my US travel.
"Photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. It has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with how you see them."
I just like to take pictures, I just push the button. I never worked in the darkroom, I never studied photography or journalism; I’m just a passionate photographer.
